"The 'weem Nook" is a delighful holiday apartment in the heart of the Scottish village of Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife. Comfortably and tastefully furnished, combining modern living with plenty of character including exposed beams and "olde worlde" charm.

A quiet and charming three bedroomed apartment (sleeps 6) above a Chocolate Shop & Cafe in an 18th century former bakery in the centre of the village. A short walk down through ancient "Wynds" to  the harbour, with views of the village church and close to all ammenities (bakery, post office with ATM, chemist, village shop, butcher, pubs, bisto cafe's, restaurants etc.). Banks and larger supermarkets can be found in Anstruther (1 mile along the coast) and in St Andrews.

Pittenweem is an historic fishing village with working harbour and stunning views across the Firth of Forth to Bass Rock & the Isle of May. The village is on the Fife Coastal Path, which runs from the Forth bridges at North Queensferry to the Tay Bridge. The popular sandy family beach at Ellie is close by - a few miles along the coast and there are 5 international "Blue Flag" beaches with 15 mins of Pittenweem.

There are lots of activities for families - historic castles to visit at Kellie Castle and Falkland Palace, walks, water sports, Scotlands Secret Bunker, St Andrews (Castle, Abbey, Museum, beach's etc.), Tentsmuir Forest and just an hour and a half drive away - the Highlands.

For golfers - St Andrews and it's world famous golf courses are 10 miles up the coast along with several other world class champion courses nearby - including, Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, Crail, St Andrews Bay (Fairmont Hotel) and locally at Ellie, Earlsferry and Anstruther.

Pittenweem offers easy access to St Andrews and the other famous Fife fishing villages on the north Firth of Forth coast - Crail, Anstruther, Cellerdyke, St Monans and Ellie.

Edinburgh and it's airport is 45 miles (one hour) away and Dundee  - Dundee airport serviced from London City -20miles (30 minutes). Rail links from Edinburgh and further south to Leuchars (St Andrews). Car hire available from the major towns and the airports.
